History


Krosno S.A. is Poland's biggest producer of hollow glassware for domestic and catering use, being also ranked a leader of the industry world-wide.


Boasting a long tradition of glass making, Krosno S.A. was established in 1923, in the South-eastern part of Poland. Right from the outset the company was involved in the production of domestic sodium-lime glassware and now employs nearly 4,000 people.


Whilst hand-made glassware, using the age-old techinque of mouth blowing it the flagship of Krosno S.A., mechanically producted glassware constitutes a considerable portion of thier ranges.


Philosophy


As an integral part of the human environment, pieces of glassware perform both decorative and utilitarian functions.


Apart from testifying to the amazing skills of our glassworkers, each piece of our hand-crafted glassware is marked by the individuality of the designer as well as the glassblower.


For centuries, glass pieces have been an element of everyday life. In addition, people like to surround themselves with beautiful things. To cater to both of these needs our glassware is designed to combine elegant forms with fuctionality.
